How do I publish projects?
Reviewing projects
When learners submit work for review, you will receive an e-mail to let you know. The work will appear under the 'Group projects' heading, which is on the homepage for the group. At this point it will only be viewable by members of the group.
Publishing projects
The submitted project will appear on your homepage for the group. If you decide that you want all users of the site to be able to see the finished project, you can publish it. Click on the project to open it, and then at the bottom of the page select 'This project is finished' from the 'Review this project' panel. You may then award the learner kudos points based on how well they have performed in different aspects of the project. To enable all MYLO users to see the project, select 'Yes, publish the project' and click 'Submit'. The published project will appear on the 'Challenge' homepage.
Published projects also help future users of MYLO, as they will be able to review the work of other students before beginning their own projects.
Withdrawing a published project
If you need to withdraw a project that you have published, then go to the 'Challenge' homepage. Select the project from the selection of published work, then click on it to open it. Scroll down to the comments box and select 'Change this setting'. This will reopen the 'Review this project' panel, enabling you to select either 'This project needs further work' or 'This project is finished'. Selecting 'This project needs further work' enables you to advise the learner on how the project could be improved. Alternatively, if you would like to mark the project as finished but not publish it, select 'This project is finished' and make sure that the 'No, but mark the project as finished' option is selected. Both of these actions will withdraw the project from its 'Published' status, so that it will no longer be visible to other MYLO users.
Note that if you decide to remove one of your groups from MYLO this will automatically remove any published work belonging to the group.
What to do if you believe copyright is infringed
In 'Challenges' where learners use 'MYLO Create' to complete their projects, they will be able to upload images of their own.
If you identify materials uploaded by users in your school that you believe infringes copyright please ask them to remove it. If you identify materials uploaded by users outside your school that you believe infringes copyright then you may notify the MYLO team and we will investigate.
